Dear Fellow Warrior:

The Society of Colonial Wars in the District of Columbia is pleased to welcome the 39th General Assembly to Washington, DC from May 6 to May 9, 2010.  The headquarters will be at the Capital Hilton located just blocks from the White House and the historic Mall area.
 
Plans have been made for our business meetings to be held conveniently at the hotel.  A highlight of the weekend will be a trip to Mount Vernon, where we will have a variety of public and private tours to see the mansion, gardens, recently expanded museum and education center, all on the grounds of George and Martha Washington's lovely estate. Other luncheons and dinners will be held at nearby clubs and the festivities on will culminate on Saturday night with the Grand Ball and reception, held in the famed Congressional and Senate rooms of the Hilton.

May is the most beautiful time of the year to come to Washington, and the Host Committee has been working diligently for years to ensure a good time will be had by all! Details will be forthcoming but please mark your calendars now and plan to attend the 39th General Assembly of our Society of Colonial Wars.  

We welcome all Warriors and guests to the Nation’s Capital on the beautiful Potomac River.
